We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to support an Internal Capital Software Project to join the team.
Note, this position is 100% remote.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, development, integration, and testing of internal capital software applications tailored to enterprise and defense-specific environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, and interface control documentation.
  • Conduct system modeling and requirements analysis to define key operational and performance parameters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine system design and ensure compatibility across platforms and processes.
  • Provide technical inputs for risk assessments, trade studies, and decision analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD standards, such as RMF (Risk Management Framework), and assist with security accreditation processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system engineering challenges during development, testing, and deployment phases.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in Agile project management and/or systems engineering within a defense or DoD environment.
Required Skills:
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and systems engineering processes.
  • Proficient in using Agile collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with DoD policies, standards, and security frameworks

Required Clearance:
Must have an active TS / SCI ; US Citizenship required.
