PositionSummary:

Provide comprehensive onsite practical and technical direction pertaining to contract scope of work. Oversee the scheduling, materials handling, safety, coordination, and supervision of all onsite crew activities for one or more projects. Communicate with both internal project team members as well as customer project team. Understand project scope of work deliverables and meet or exceed project goal expectations both operationally and financially.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budgeted costs.
  • Cooperate with project team and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project scope, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations an promote a safe work environment.
  • Practice, promote, and develop skills for mentoring at all field manpower levels.
  • Devotes majority of time to supervising on-site operational management.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor on site team on safety, processes, procedures, skills, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Project and/or General Superintendent to optimize project performance.
  • With minimal support identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and adjust plans as necessary to meet deliverables and deadlines.
  • Understand customer needs, be a proactive customer liaison, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform regular quality control inspections on all assigned projects.
  • Schedule daily and weekly scope of work activities for assigned projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate on site field operations of all associated sub-contractors.
  • Understand Permit and RAMP plan compliance obligations and ensure assigned projects stay in compliance.
  • Engage in productive and mutually agreeable conflict resolution with on-site contractors.
  • Maintain current and updated jobsite records including, daily reports, activity reports, RAMP plans, equipment maintenance, and jobsite documentation at all times.

Accountability:

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in primarily a field environment. Project work may occur throughout Colorado as well as in bordering states.
  • All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
  • Work in excavations, high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Work in all types of weather.
  • Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or 50 lbs.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of construction dewatering and treatment techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Indirect supervision.
  • Assures compliance with company policy and procedure.
  • Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
  • Skilled specialist and 3-4 years leadership experience.

Career Level: General Foreman 2

  • Performs daily responsibilities with minimum supervision.
  • Creates material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
  • Understands contract scope deliverables and manages projects to meet or exceed contract commitments.
  • In depth knowledge of construction dewatering and treatment techniques and equipment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures.
  • Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities under established procedures.
  • Skilled specialist and 4-5 years leadership experience.

Career Level: General Foreman 3

  • Works primarily with indirect supervision.
  • Understands assigned budget and works within the parameters of the project budget to enhance profitability.
  • Understands project risks and can identify, document, elevate, and mitigate project risk.
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures.
  • Skilled specialist and 5 to 6 years leadership experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction dewatering, treatment techniques, equipment and systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with project team and customer.
  • Creates short interval manpower and project schedules.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture and exemplifying the organization's values.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
  • Foster strong peer relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors to drive project success.
  • Develops and implement strategic plans to optimize project execution and resource utilization.
