Finance Manager NEX

Brief Description:

The Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, supports the Product Service Line (PSL) business through the use of data-driven financial insights. The Finance Manager, FP&A will execute budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews for the PSL, while effectively managing strong relationships to support decision making.

Detailed Description:

• Oversees the PSL FP&A team and operates as a business partner across business segments to develop a sound understanding of NexTier's financial goals and strategies and recommend appropriate organizational initiatives in support of those strategies.

• Drives the annual operating plan from a bottoms up perspective.

• Revises quarterly forecasts and collaborates with leadership to determine if goals are being met.

• Communicates financial insights that drive and support short and long-term business decisions.

• Drives stockholder value through forward-looking and meaningful analytics.

• Provides competitive analysis to the PSL's and Segments to enable benchmarking and economic value add driven decisions.

• Perform additional duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Operational knowledge of the PSL business segment

• Extensive modeling expertise

• Strong background with consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, driver based planning

• Forward thinking and analytical

• Time management and ability to lead and manage deadlines

• Extensive Excel experience with spreadsheets

• High level personnel management

• Ability to build relationships in a fast paced environment

• Demonstrates positive people management skills: Communicates effectively, treats subordinates fairly and consistently; coaches subordinates well, takes an interest in subordinates' careers

• Strong background in OneStream planning and reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Required).
• 7-10 years in Finance or Accounting experience in oilfield services (Required).

Additional Details:

The Finance Manager works with limited direction. The incumbent determines and develops the approach to solutions. The work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.

Provides resolution to an assortments of problems that are typically well defined, but some clarification or judgment is required to determine action, as additional information about the problem / task is discovered. Uses judgment within defined practices / procedures to determine appropriate action. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but the majority of tasks take up to several weeks to resolve.

Under general supervision, proceeds alone on regular duties, referring questionable cases to supervisor.
