Warehouse Catering Operations Associate

STS Technical Services is hiring a Warehouse Catering Operations Associate to support aviation catering and commissary operations at Houston International Airport in Humble, Texas. This role is critical to ensuring catering supplies, equipment, and inventory are accurately prepared, tracked, and delivered in support of daily aircraft operations.

The Warehouse Catering Operations Associate is responsible for the safe handling, processing, and control of catering commissary supplies and equipment. This role supports receiving, shipping, inventory management, cycle counts, equipment tracking, and overall warehouse organization while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

• Receive, bin, ship, and issue catering supplies and equipment
  
• Pre plan commissary and catering supplies based on aircraft rotations
  
• Conduct inventory checks at catering vendors and onboard aircraft
  
• Verify that accurate and operable catering equipment is onboard each flight
  
• Ensure proper inventory is prepared and delivered to downline caterers
  
• Communicate inventory or planning deficiencies and track performance
  
• Identify and requisition required catering equipment repairs
  
• Create Repair Orders for unserviceable parts as directed by the Repairs Department or Supervisor
  
• Execute assigned weekly and monthly tasks including calibration, shelf life reviews, and cycle and inventory counts
  
• Utilize computer systems to maintain and update inventory in a timely manner
  
• Monitor shipping and station supplies and advise Supervisor of shortages and requirements
  
• Coordinate with HQ Catering Department to support operational needs
  
• Maintain and coordinate inventory with all downline stations
  
• Perform daily warehouse housekeeping including cleaning, sweeping, and organizing parts, supplies, and equipment
  
• Operate forklifts to move materials within warehouse facilities
  
• Audit outbound meals to ensure catering matches approved departure orders
  
• Audit inbound meals to analyze meal and beverage leftovers
  
• Keep management informed of operational issues impacting performance
  
• Ensure customers, vendors, and employees adhere to current operating requirements affecting ground operations
  
• Monitor ramp activities to ensure safe and timely catering and commissary handling
  
• Perform special projects or additional assignments as required
  

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions
  
• Two or more years of forklift experience preferred
  
• Previous airline experience preferred
  
• Prior cycle counting and inventory reconciliation experience preferred
  
• Ability to attend and pass required recurrent, refresher, or re certification training
  
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required identification badges including tracking expiration and renewals
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  

• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as operationally required
  
• Ability to travel as needed to support operational requirements
  
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to pass a 10 year background check and obtain an airport security badge
  
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of moderately heavy objects up to 70 pounds and operating material handling equipment in congested warehouse environments
  
• Occasional driving in city traffic for pickups, deliveries, or field inventory tasks
