Position Title: Quality Lead - Receiving

Quality Lead Responsibilities: - Lead, direct and train a team of production and quality assurance personnel in inspection and testing procedures - Test and inspect raw materials, work in process, and final products, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, procedures, and training - Perform testing equipment calibration and maintenance - Identify non-conforming materials and initiate appropriate corrective actions - Accurately record inspection and testing results, maintaining detailed documentation - Communicate quality issues promptly to supervision and management - Assist in implementing quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives - Support investigations of quality rejects and participate in root cause analysis Requirements for Quality Lead: - At least one year of relevant experience in quality control and supervision within manufacturing - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Proven leadership and team management abilities - Ability to read, write, and interpret engineering drawings and procedures in English - Physical capacity to stand for a 12-hour shift, lift or exert force up to 75 lbs., and push/pull loads up to 300 lbs - Ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks and operate testing equipment effectively desmoinesresume@qpsemployment.com IND092 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
