The pay range for this position is $26.63-$38.51 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist to join our team. As a HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist you will be responsible for providing support for leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans and programs with goals of providing team members with the time off and accommodations they need, facilitating their smooth return to work and ongoing success and ensuring the organization's compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. The scope of the role encompasses all aspects of leave of absence administration, team member accommodations and disability support, including research and resolution of complex cases. This role is accountable for delivering service excellence and optimizing the team member experience by functioning as a subject matter expert through performing analysis, delivering information and providing consultation. To ensure efficient and scalable administration of these programs, this role will work closely with internal and external partners such as the vendor (leave, short/long-term disability), Benefits, Payroll and HR Managers/Business Partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Leave of Absence, Short/Long-Term Disability & Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Management
1. Coordinate and administer all aspects of team member leave of absences (LOAs) both continuous and intermittent, ADA, return to work and extended medical leave programs, while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws
2. Collaborate with the organization's disability/leave of absence vendor and act as a liaison between the vendor and team members
3. Provide instruction, guidance and exceptional customer service to team members and managers in navigating the complexities and details of the LOA and ADA processes. Ensure touchpoints occur to gather and provide required information between stakeholders including the leader and team member.
4. Consult and coordinates with HR Managers (Business Partners), Legal, Payroll & Benefits and external vendors on LOA related and ADA accommodation to resolve complex and time sensitive situations, as appropriate
5. Research and interpret HR policy and legislative developments to ensure continued compliance
6. Remain knowledgeable about benefits as they relate to leave of absence and disability (ADA) regulations and best practices
7. Respond to team member, manager and vendor questions and escalations
8. Drive a high level of team member and leader satisfaction through service delivery, quality and self-identifying trends and opportunities to enhance the team member experience
9. Provide support for compliance audits
10. Focus on continuous improvement and innovation to refine and evolve processes and best practices
(15%) Worker's Compensation
1. Provides support for Workers' Compensation related inquiries and required reporting
2. Responsible for submitting Workers' Compensation claims to the vendor in a timely manner
3. Coordinates return to work efforts
4. Partner with legal, safety and compliance teams as needed
(5%) Systems/information management
1. Maintains data in HR systems and processes reports

(5%) Unemployment
1. Processes basic Unemployment requests

2. Partners with HR Managers/Business Partners on unemployment-related situations, as needed
(5%) Other tasks and project as assigned
1. Provides support with special projects

2. Will be expected to perform any and all related duties as assigned by manager

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
2. Associate degree in Human Resources, or in a related and applicable field
3. Three (3) years' experience working on leave of absence, return to work programs, ADA, short-term and long-term disability
4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications; Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
5. Ability to occasionally travel

Preferred:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related and applicable field
2. Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS)
3. Human Resources certification
