Markon is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support secure software and system deployments in a mission-critical environment for the Fort Meade Customer. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing, securing, and maintaining containerized and cloud-based systems, leveraging modern DevSecOps practices to support operational and development teams.

Support software and system deployments across Linux-based and cloud environments.
• Perform Linux system administration in support of containerized and cloud-hosted systems.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps pipelines, incorporating security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Support system hardening, monitoring, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and security teams to support mission requirements.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science required. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science may substitute for two years of experience.
• Minimum of eight years of experience supporting software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Recent experience (within the last three years) with Kubernetes, including containerization and cluster orchestration.
