We are looking for a driven Finance Business Partner to join our Aerospace & Defense Solutions division Finance team in Georgetown, TX to support our financial reporting and analysis for the division.

A successful candidate will build relationships with key partners working to identify and drive opportunities and strategic initiatives. This role will focus on performing the financial reporting, planning & analysis responsibilities with a gradual integration of further responsibilities as a finance business partner, supporting various business analysis and decision making. This position is best suited for an individual who possesses strong economic and critical thinking skills and thrives in collaborating with a broad range of individuals and capabilities.

What You Will Do

Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis

* Assist with monthly closing cycle by performing various month-end review and analyses, consolidating the division financials across business units, ensuring financial information has been recorded appropriately and providing financial commentary.

* Support timely preparation of periodic and ad-hoc management reporting for various customers including business and division management, Corporate Finance and C-level executives.

* Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision making.

* Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendation for improvements.

* Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis; study proposed changes in methods and materials.

Finance Business Partnership

* Analyze and review profitability of our products, partnering with Product Managers and Engineering to understand our product portfolio and return on investment.

* Develop good working relationship with the business and support the business by responding to various ad hoc requests for data, analyses, and presentations.

* Proactively drive creative destruction and continually look for ways to improve processes and create additional value for customers.

* Research and provide market insights (e.g. competitor analysis, market trends) to support strategic initiatives of the business.

* Provide continuous finance training (e.g., financial metrics, decision-making framework) to business partners.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related fields

* 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Organization skills to anticipate, plan, organize and self-monitor workload.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely across functions and levels within organization.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Systems and Tools savvy: You have experience inworking with SAP, OneStreams or other large ERP,

* Sourcing large volumes of data from multiple systems, performing analysis and developing a point of view,

* Advanced MS Excel capability (e.g. Pivot Tables, V & H Lookups, creating charts and tables, data modeling, financial returns, forecasting, graphs, charts, macros)

* Business analysis and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL)

* Transformation focused: You are flexible and able to prioritize your work in a dynamic environment, embrace and lead change, and seek to improve processes.
