PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible driving solutions that solve business challenges efficiently through analysis, design, architecture and implementation of various tools and processes which continually enhance the caregiver experience. Collaboration with both the Talent & ER Leaders, as well as key stakeholders is required to realize talent strategies including delivering an optimal experience for caregivers and managers. Leverage a variety of tools to support a flexible, responsive, and nimble business strategy.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute projects through all phases: initiation, architecture, requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Design and develop functional specifications, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, compliant, and user-friendly solutions.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday HCM and related HR platforms, drive enhancements, automation, and new feature rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, configuration, and data issues; perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions aligned with business strategy and future needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation (requirements, process maps, test plans, etc.) and ensure data and process integrity.
  • Contribute to system strategy and roadmap discussions.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, Workday releases, and best practices; recommend innovative solutions to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Provide mentorship to associate and systems analysts and promote best practices in configuration, change management, and technical problem-solving.
  • Champion user adoption and change management strategies for system enhancements and new functionality.
  • Participate in special projects, audits, and initiatives to improve technical services and ensure compliance.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge of HR technology.
  • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Five to seven years of professional experience with a heavy emphasis on system configuration and analysis to drive business strategy.Proven track record leading multiple end-to-end Workday enhancement projects.
  • Workday certification in HCM, Talent and Performance, Timekeeping, Payroll and other relevant modules preferred.
  • Eight or more years of enterprise systems experience including 5 years of Workday configuration and support may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Annual Compensation Range $85,862.40 - $137,384.00 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
