This includes ability to work with the PI to develop and utilize a host of iPSC models if dementia, and work closely with senior faculty and the PI supervising teams of technicians and students to complete the multidisciplinary tasks involved in each study (iPSC culturing, quality controls, single cell sequencing, phenotyping, genetic and pharmacological manipulation, functional readouts including electrophysiology). The assistant researcher should also have experience with neuron and/or glial cell culture in to study neurotoxicity, aggregation or inflammatory responses . The scientist is expected to submit at least one career training grant by the end of the first year and assist in grant preparation as a co-investigator by the end of the first year.
