Sigma Defense is seeking a former Navy Surface Warfare Officer or Chief Petty Officer to join our team at ATGPAC as a VR Trainer and Analyst. In this role you will support the ATGPAC staff in the analysis of virtual reality or other immersive training technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Navy training, preferably at the Officer or Chief Petty Officer level, with direct involvement in managing or delivering training at a department or division level aboard surface ships or at shore commands.
- Demonstrated experience developing, coordinating, and executing training programs, including curriculum management and adherence to Navy training standards.
- Experience working with Navy training commands or organizations such as Afloat Training Group (ATG) or the Center for Surface Training and Certification (CSTC).
- Proven ability to manage training equipment and materials, including configuration management and accountability of technical assets.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other data management or training software.
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) or other immersive training technologies is preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple commands and schedule training sessions effectively.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Knowledge of:
- The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) and its application to shipboard and shore-based training operations.
- Navy training doctrine, curriculum development, and readiness assessment methodologies.
- Virtual Reality training equipment operation and maintenance.
- Navy travel regulations and guidelines (e.g., Joint Travel Regulations - JTR) related to coordinating training travel logistics.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
- Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Benefits
