Summary:

The Director of Admissions is responsible for efficiently planning, directing, and monitoring the Admissions Department's daily operations to ensure that budgeted resident census goals are met and to provide a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to admission, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for residents and their families.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to assess resident eligibility and ensure appropriate placement.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions data.
  • Establish relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, social workers, and other senior living communities.
  • Implement outreach programs and plan and attend community events, health fairs, and other marketing opportunities to educate the public about our services.
  • In conjunction with marketing and sales, develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase admissions by conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and concerns.
  • Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Associate's Degree or Two years of related work experience

Non-Essential:
* Bachelor's Degree

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:

* 7 years inpatient healthcare admissions field. Knowledge of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid processes, as well as managed care and case management functions.
