Technical Program Manager This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role located in Cupertino, CA. All candidates MUST be local to the greater Cupertino area. Summary
This role supports the delivery of high-quality in-app content used by millions of customers worldwide. The Technical Producer will partner with technical production designers and cross-functional teams to manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring content is delivered efficiently while maintaining best-in-class quality. The position focuses on orchestration, process improvement, and navigating complex, ambiguous challenges across design and technical workflows. Our Ideal Candidate
- 7-10 years of experience across technical project/program management, media, design, production, operations, or related fields
- Passion for content delivery and production workflows with a strong foundation in project and release management
- Proficient in project management tools, systems, and software, with strong organizational and coordination skills
- Familiar with Agile and other project management methodologies, asset pipelines, data sets, and content management systems (CMS)
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, QA, UI, and Product Marketing
- Able to work independently while managing multiple concurrent projects and complex timelines
- Flexible and adaptable when navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities, and organizational change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and an empathetic approach
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to continuously learn, improve processes, and deliver value
Job Description
In this role, you will manage the full release lifecycle for in-app content, including planning, initiation, execution, and retrospectives. You'll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure feature support, integration readiness, and smooth content delivery. This includes coordinating large asset pipelines, maintaining production processes, and driving continuous improvements to workflows and tools. You will also support ongoing production operations, helping the team scale content delivery while maintaining quality standards. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Background in project/program management, media, design, production, or operations
- Experience working within media, design, or software environments
- Experience navigating organizational transitions, transformations, or major process changes preferred
