Job Description Lucix Corporation, a subsidiary of HEICO's Electronic Technologies Group has steadily evolved to become the world leader in RF Active and Passive Units, Subsystems, and Assemblies, for Commercial, Civil and Defense Satellite Payloads. Lucix also provides RF hardware for Airborne and Ground Systems. All hardware is designed, qualified, manufactured, tested, and shipped from Lucix facilities in California, USA. Provide functional leadership in the electrical engineering role at Lucix, covering RF design and digital design. Job title will be assigned as Manager or Director depending on experience and related qualifications. Manage a team of 5 - 10 electrical engineers, providing project assignments, technical guidance, and career growth. Provide performance feedback and manage efforts of individuals. Serve as chair of electrical design reviews. Lead the team in execution of design for active programs and creation of technical concepts for future business. Assist in creating the overall Lucix technology and product road map. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Functional management of electrical engineering team, including project assignments, day-to-day task guidance, mentoring, and performing annual performance reviews * Act as senior technical resource in the review and evaluation of RF and/or digital designs * Serve as individual technical contributor as required to assist with technical issue and new product concepts * Lead efforts in staffing and maintaining the necessary team: track current and upcoming engineering resource utilization, and secure extra personnel (contract or full-time) as needed. * Lead, enforce, and continually refine Lucix internal processes for product development. * Chair design review meetings * Act as a key technical resource for Lucix electrical designs: assess and update the company's technology road map, identify key new technical areas for the company to develop, and ensure that the company attracts and retains top-level talent in these areas * As a member of the Lucix leadership team, lead by example in maintaining a strong company culture to ensure the company's sustained leadership position within the industry * Performs other duties as assigned Benefits: Lucix offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, HSA and voluntary insurance plans such as accident, hospital and critical illness, a 401k with company match.
