What this job involves: As the Meeting Services Supervisor, you will lead and manage a dynamic team responsible for delivering exceptional meeting and event support services. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring seamless operation of meeting rooms, audiovisual equipment, and special events across our facilities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for meeting services operations, driving operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of customer service that support JLL's commitment to creating outstanding workplace experiences for our clients. What your day-to-day will look like: * Supervise and coordinate the Meeting Services team, including scheduling, PTO management, work assignments, and ensuring proper coverage across all shifts and locations * Conduct daily room and equipment inspections, completing meeting room setups 30 minutes prior to event start times and documenting results through QR code surveys * Provide hands-on technical support for audiovisual systems including projectors, video conference equipment, flat screens, microphones, amplifiers, and AV control systems * Manage inventory tracking for AV assets, meeting room supplies, and spare equipment while maintaining organized storage areas and conducting preventive maintenance * Respond to guest requests for AV assistance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate with vendors for advanced technical support when needed * Support special events by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and AV equipment according to specific requirements and managing shared equipment pools * Prepare weekly and monthly metrics reports on meeting services activities, room utilization, and operational performance for facility management teams Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or state equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience in audiovisual support and meeting room setup * Demonstrated team leadership and coaching experience with ability to manage schedules, performance, and day-to-day supervision responsibilities * Technical proficiency with AV equipment including projectors, video conference systems, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems for troubleshooting and repair * Advanced Excel skills with ability to create customized administrative reports and maintain accurate inventory tracking databases * Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, set up folding tables and chairs, and frequently walk throughout buildings including stairs * Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications * Proven customer service excellence with ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations and time constraints Preferred Qualifications: * AV industry certifications or formal audiovisual training programs * Experience with facility management work order systems and QR code survey documentation processes * Background in conference center operations or concierge-level meeting support services * Familiarity with video conference vendor coordination and VIP meeting support protocols * Previous experience in fast-paced corporate environments with competing priorities and multitasking requirements * Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for audiovisual and meeting room equipment * Experience with room scheduling software and reservation management systems Location: On-site Work Shift: Standard business hours This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
