Description Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. Per Diem/Variable Shift The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
