POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Welder Role reports to the Installation Supervisor
  • Located in Bellingham, MA
  • Full-Time
  • In Office
  • $22.00/hour - $28.00/hour



The Welder & Fabrication Specialist supports the Installation Department by performing high-quality welding, custom fabrication, and metalwork required for equipment installations. This role ensures that all custom components, modifications, and on-site fabrication needs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet project specifications and customer expectations.



Key Responsibilities



  • Performs TIG, MIG welding to fabricate, repair, or modify stainless steel and other metals used in commercial equipment installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate fabricated components.
  • Create custom brackets, frames, supports, and other parts required for on-site equipment installation.
  • Ensure all fabricated materials meet safety, quality, and durability standards.
  • Operate fabrication equipment includes grinders, saws, shears, plasma cutters, drill presses, and bending/rolling machinery.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges by designing and fabricating custom solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with installers, project managers, and field supervisors to meet installation deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, structural integrity, and proper fit.
  • Participate in field installations as required, providing welding, polishing and fabrication support on-site.



Qualifications



  • Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication; certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding and stainless-steel fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in field-based installation environments.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment or industrial installations is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various installation environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • 2-4 years of experience, specifically with Stainless Steel.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.


In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
