Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support across key operational areas, including leave administration, immigration, compliance, and general employee relations. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, HR Director, and managers to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services that enhance the associate experience and ensure regulatory compliance. The HR Generalist also contributes to HR projects, audits, and data-driven initiatives that support organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Leave & Accommodation Administration: Manage all leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, military) and serve as the primary administrator for ADA accommodations, ensuring compliance and a positive associate experience.
  1. Immigration & Global Mobility: Act as the subject matter expert for immigration cases, partnering with legal counsel to secure visas and work permits.
  2. Safety & Compliance: Collaborate with the EHS Manager on workplace incidents, injury reporting, and Workers' Compensation claims. Maintain OSHA compliance, including annual reporting.
  3. Separation & Offboarding: Coordinate voluntary terminations and retirements, prepare exit documentation, conduct exit interviews, and analyze trends to provide actionable insights.
  4. Job Description & Role Management: Maintain and update job descriptions using the job management system. Partner with HRBPs and managers to ensure alignment with required skills and competencies.
  5. Audit & Regulatory Readiness: Serve as the primary HR contact for ISO, FDA, and MDSAP audits, ensuring documentation and processes meet regulatory standards.
  6. Other Generalist Support: May be tasked to assist with routine employee relations and performance management matters under the guidance of the HR Business Partners and Director. Manage unemployment claims and filings. Provide support for internal transfers and promotions to foster career development.
    * Cross-Functional HR Support: Collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives that enhance the associate experience and organizational effectiveness.
    * Other duties as assigned.

Percentage of Travel: 10%



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role required OR 5-8 years required experience in Human Resources including experience in the Armed Forces. Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Human Resources preferred.
    PHR or SPHR certification preferred

  • English

  • Must have strong PC skills and demonstrate experience using PowerPoint, Exel and Word to manage data and workflows. HRIS experience preferred (SAP desirable).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Builds positive relationships and works effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures to practical situations, using sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Flexible in responding to changing priorities and committed to staying current on HR trends and compliance requirements.

The salary range for this role is $58,100.00 - $91,300.00. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
