Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Procurement and Sourcing provides leadership, direction, and oversight of all supported procurement and sourcing activities across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Accounting Operations, this role is responsible for driving value through supplier management, strategic sourcing, and cost optimization initiatives, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational excellence. The Senior Manager will build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver sustainable results, mitigate risk, and support the company's long-term growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Procurement and Sourcing:
- Lead and manage the center-lead procurement function, overseeing the sourcing of supported goods, materials, and services.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and executing procurement initiatives that drive cost savings, efficiency, and value creation.
- Conduct market intelligence, supplier evaluations, and benchmarking to ensure quality, pricing, and service standards are competitive and support business needs.
- Drive supplier relationship management (SRM) and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring vendors meet expectations on quality, service, delivery, and compliance.
- Implement supplier performance scorecards to track and improve service, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Facilities, Operations, Marketing, Quality, Research and Development, and other business units to ensure seamless purchasing and procurement processes.
- Create, implement, and improve procurement policies, procedures and systems for efficiency and compliance including ERP system utilization (Microsoft D365 or equivalent).
- Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Purchasing Card Programs:
- Provide oversight of the American Express Corporate Card Programs, including insurance coordination, compliance and reporting.
- Lead the implementation of Purchasing Cards (P-Cards) to support decentralized procurement where appropriate.
- Oversee the company's Travel & Expense (T&E) policy, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and leading practices.
- Provide functional oversight of the Concur expense management system, ensuring streamlined approvals, compliance and reporting accuracy.
Corporate policies and SOX controls:
- Ensure compliance with SOX-404 and other regulatory requirements while maintaining strong governance and audit-ready processes.
- Lead or support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and management in an effective manner consistent with Company Values towards defined Corporate Objectives.
- Understands Company Policy and procedure to be able to guide direct reports appropriately.
Knowledge & Other Qualifications:
- High school Diploma Required, a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a Procurement related field is preferred.
- A minimum of six years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain, with increasing leadership responsibility.
- Two years of management experience in procurement or a related field.
- Experience working with Microsoft D365 or equivalent ERP strongly preferred.
- Experience in a SOX-404 regulated environment required; pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, principles, and methodologies, with demonstrated success in implementing sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and business partners, building consensus to drive company-wide value.
- Demonstrated negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- Occasional travel (domestic and/or international) may be required to support supplier management and business needs.
Compensation: At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $120,000 to $150,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs. You also will be able to participate in a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to: health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k company match, company paid life insurance and health and wellness benefits. The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards, employee stock purchase programs and participation in our Company's discretionary annual bonus program.
