1601 - Purchasing Associate I

Sigma Defense is seeking a Purchasing Associate to join the CEIS-II purchasing team in Ridgecrest, CA.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Perform as a Purchasing Assistant to the CEIS-II purchasing team.
• Develop draft purchase order and subcontract packages across the various CEIS-II Delivery Orders as needed including reviewing requirements, seeking and reviewing vendor sources, and providing recommendations for vendor selection to senior purchasing team members.
• Monitors and tracks delivery and invoicing from vendors and provides regular updates to the purchasing team.
• Draft PO and Subcontract package development.
• Vendor selection recommendations.
• Vendor delivery and invoicing tracking.

Pay Range: $31.25 per hour.
