Get to Know Your Team:

  • BSA Outpatient Therapy Services is a rehabilitation facility for patients recovering from major illness or injury outside of a hospital setting. We offer various rehabilitation services, including aquatic therapy, lymphedema therapy, diabetes education, Occupational Therapy, Pediatric Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and the area's only certified Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

Responsibilities

  • Supports licensed therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients.
  • Assists with patient preparation, maintaining therapy equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized treatment environment.
  • Assist therapists in preparing patients for treatment sessions.
  • Set up and maintain therapy equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of therapy areas and equipment.
  • Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing clinic workflow.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in therapy practice.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities as needed.
  • Works collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Basic knowledge of physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy principles.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field.

  • Prior experience in a therapy or healthcare setting.
