Type of Opportunity: Full timeFTE: 1Job Exempt: NoWork Shift: Days (United States of America)Responsibilities: In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, hearing, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders, delivering personalized therapy in the comfort of their homes. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through individualized, patient-centered interventions. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the communicative, cognitive and/or swallowing needs of the patient. This includes promoting client/caregiver ability for self-determination and care, optimizing their participation in this process and optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve self-management. You will also coordinate and communicate with various disciplines or services involved in client care and coordinating their efforts toward discharge goals established at onset and during course of care. You will also be a patient advocate. Additional Job Duties: Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing and dysphasia disorders.
