Job Summary About Cancer Health Services The center includes a highly qualified team of cancer specialists and state-of-the-art technology for cancer detection and treatment, all in an environment designed to promote health and healing. An environment designed to reduce stress and anxiety and promote hope and healing. Dedicated pharmacist mixing chemotherapy on-site. Enhanced collaboration among regional organizations that share the goal of cancer awareness, prevention, and education. Improved accessibility and convenience to necessary programs and services, including clinical trials and leading-edge therapies so local residents do not have to leave the community for care. Scope of Work The individual in this position is responsible for managing the clinical direction of the cancer health and transplant pharmacy service lines. Responsibilities include management of clinical specialists in the acute care and ambulatory cancer health and transplant locations, validation of Beacon builds to support the clinical care of these patients, identification and implementation of financial stewardship initiatives, collaborating with providers to ensure appropriate clinical pharmacy care, and providing direct patient care to patients in these service lines.
