Job Summary

The Amtech BSA II is responsible for the discovery, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of our Amtech EnCore ERP/MES landscape across order-to-cash, production scheduling, inventory, shipping, and finance. You'll translate business needs into scalable configurations, streamline plant operations, and enable data-driven decision-making using Amtech modules and extensions. Works under the general direction of the BAA Manager; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis.

Location: This position can be located at any UFP location.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements gathering with key teams to outline current and future processes in Amtech EnCore (Order Processing, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Data Entry, Billing.

  • Document user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data models, and control points aligned to packaging manufacturing best practices.

  • Define KPIs and reporting needs; partner with stakeholders to design dashboards/visual analytics that surface production, quality, and service metrics.

  • Configure EnCore modules and extensions such as Advanced Planning, Quality/CAPA, Advanced Shipment Planning, and TopGun for wireless inventory.

  • Set up pricing/costing models, quoting scenarios, and customer self-service capabilities to improve speed and accuracy

  • Leverage the Amtech API to integrate EnCore with third-party systems (e.g., digital printers, design automation, CRM/ecommerce)

  • Lead data migration, data quality checks, and master data governance for items, BOMs, routings, customers, suppliers, and pricing. (ERP best practices).

  • Develop test plans, scripts, and scenarios; coordinate UAT and defect triage across plants and functions. (ERP testing best practices).

  • Prepare training materials and conduct workshops for end users; drive adoption and continuous improvement postgolive. (ERP implementation best practices).

  • Serve as Tier2 functional support for EnCore incidents/requests; analyze root causes and implement systemic fixes.

  • Monitor scheduling, production data capture (e.g., ScoreKeeper), inventory accuracy (TopGun), shipping, and billing flows; optimize configurations to reduce exceptions and cycle times.

  • Act as functional lead on Amtech projects from discovery through deployment; manage scope, timeline, and risk with an executive sponsor and crossfunctional team. (ERP project governance).

  • Communicate status, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leadership; maintain clear documentation and release notes. (ERP implementation best practices).

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or other related field

  • 3-7 years as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or ERP Analyst in manufacturing (preferably corrugated/folding carton). (Industry context).

  • Handson experience configuring Amtech EnCore (or prior Imaginera EnCore migration exposure) across order management, scheduling, inventory, shipping, and financials.

  • Familiarity with Advanced Planning Board, Quality/CAPA, TopGun, and Amtech API integrations.

  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, data migration/testing, and user training. (ERP best practices).

  • Deep knowledge of Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Shipping, and Financial Posting workflows in Amtech EnCore.

  • Skilled in EnCore configuration, API and integration concepts, data structures and master data management, test automation, and defect resolution.

  • Experienced in KPI development, variance analysis, exception handling, and building performance dashboards.

  • Strong ability to create clear documentation, manage change, and deliver training for both shop floor and corporate stakeholders.

  • Works seamlessly with plant schedulers, estimators, customer service representatives, finance teams, IT, and external vendors.

  • Travel expectation approximately 15 weeks per year

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Salary Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, dependent on experience*

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay: Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria, and individual job responsibility and performance.
