Education and Experience

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Must have current Pennsylvania CDL driver's license and be approved by Goodwill Keystone Area's insurance company before driving company truck.
• Minimum 2 years CDL-A truck driving experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical computations.
• Must have effective communication skills and present self in a professional manner to general public
• Must have the ability to work beyond normal schedule to include extended hours as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
• Overtime is mandatory during peak times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work with hands and have excellent eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to work in all extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to push and pull various carts requiring an initial force of 50 pounds a distance of 150 feet for 25% of the shift.
• Ability to push and pull manual pallet jacks with gaylords or other material requiring an initial force of 60 pounds a distance of 100 feet for 25% of the shift.
• Ability to push and pull the speed lift requiring an initial force of 60 pounds a distance of 20 feet four times per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to waist level frequently throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds from ground level to waist level once per shift.
• Ability to step up 24 inches at a time onto forklifts and/or truck cab steps for 10% of the shift.
• Visual and hearing acuity (with correction) that meets standard vision and hearing test criteria for a Commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to sit continuously for 3 hours at a time for more than 75% of the shift.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for a prolonged period of time for 25% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stoop to open and close doors and secure loads for 10% of the shift.
