POSITION SUMMARY The Community Financial Wellness Advisor plays a key role in growing Verve's membership by establishing and nurturing partnerships with local businesses, employer groups, and community organizations. This individual serves as the face of Verve Direct in their assigned market-promoting financial wellness programming, delivering value-based education, and supporting membership acquisition efforts. The Community Financial Wellness Advisor proactively identifies partnership opportunities, facilitates workshops and events, and represents the Credit Union at community and professional functions. The role requires strong relationship-building, public speaking, and organizational skills, along with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Employer Group & Community Outreach
- Lead business outreach efforts in assigned markets to establish partnerships that lead to new member acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR professionals, benefits managers, and business owners.
- Integrate Verve Direct's financial wellness offerings into employer group benefits.
- Represent Verve at chamber events, SHRM chapters, industry expos, and other relevant networking opportunities.
Program Delivery & Financial Education
- Plan and deliver financial education seminars, webinars, and workplace events (e.g., lunch-and-learns).
- Tailor presentations and wellness initiatives to meet the needs of each employer or community partner.
- Onboard and support new employer groups by coordinating program setup and activation.
- Serve as a subject-matter representative for Verve's financial products and wellness solutions.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with retail, lending, and marketing teams to follow up on leads and support growth campaigns.
- Maintain close communication with branches to ensure smooth member onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal education experts or trainers when needed.
Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, event attendance, and membership conversions using CRM tools.
- Provide periodic reports and insights to the AVP on outreach effectiveness and market trends.
Monitor partner satisfaction and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in business development, sales, or community outreach. Experience working with HR professionals or employer groups preferred.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel.

- Work Environment: Business office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk the majority of the day; talk or hear; stand or walk occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is typically utilizing a computer, keyboard, and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
