Payroll Specialist

Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a leading organization to hire an experienced Payroll Specialist to support high-volume, complex payroll operations. This is a temporary role with strong potential to convert to permanent based on performance and business needs.

This position is ideal for a payroll professional who is detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and confident working in ADP EV6, including union payroll environments.

  Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls in ADP EV6, including adjustments, off-cycle payments, and retroactive pay

  
  
• 
  

  Interpret and apply union contracts to ensure accurate wages, fringes, deductions, and benefit calculations

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare and submit union remittances and benefit reports accurately and on time

  
  
• 
  

  Reconcile payroll reports, general ledger accounts, and benefit payments

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain employee and union data in ADP with strict attention to accuracy and confidentiality

  
  
• 
  

  Partner with HR, Accounting, and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and support audits

  
  

• 
  

  Proven experience processing payroll in ADP EV6 (required)

  
  
• 
  

  Strong understanding of union payroll and related compliance requirements is a plus

  Experience with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits

  
  
• 
  

  High attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work onsite at least three days per week as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment
