Job Description
The School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences (ESWPS) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) announces adjunct and adjunct university supervisor faculty positions in Urban Teacher Education for the Institute for Urban Education (IUE). The professionals selected for this position will join a collaborative and dedicated faculty who emphasize excellence in education at all levels in the context of the School of Education's commitment to urban education, differing backgrounds and educational imbalances. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. As an urban-serving school, the mission of the School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences (ESWPS) is to recruit, prepare and support outstanding teachers, mental health professionals, and educational leaders who will create lifelong opportunities for the multi-cultural communities they serve through excellence in teaching, research, and practice. THE INTENT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY A POOL OF ADJUNCT FACULTY IN THE INSTITUTE FOR URBAN EDUCATION (IUE). Major Responsibilities May Include:
This position is part-time and not eligible for benefits. Hours vary depending on opportunity. Contracts generally issued on a semester-by-semester basis. Qualifications
