Job Description
The Institute for Urban Education (IUE) offers coursework in early childhood, elementary, middle, and secondary education, in curriculum, TESOL, multicultural education, special education, culturally responsive teaching, and reading, and in English/Language Arts, natural science, social studies, art, and mathematics. THE INTENT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY A POOL OF ADJUNCT FACULTY WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO DELIVER UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVEL COURSES IN THE INSTITUTE FOR URBAN EDUCATION (IUE). The School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences (ESWPS) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is continuously seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty teaching positions. This position is part-time and not eligible for benefits. Hours will depend on the opportunity. Contracts are generally issued on a semester-by-semester basis. Qualifications

Appointment periods are for the semester with consideration for reappointment. A flat adjunct salary is determined based on level of educational degree held. Application Materials
