Associate Medical Director (AMD) - Anesthesiology - MaineHealth Stephens Hospital (Norway, ME)

MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist, to join our dedicated team in beautiful Norway, Maine as the Associate Medical Director (AMD). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a community practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining strong work-life balance.

FTE: .9 FTE Clinical/.1 FTE Administration

Position Highlights

• * Medical direction model: Collaborate with 3 CRNAs daily to manage 3 sites of service, plus call responsibilities.
• * Diverse surgical specialties: OBGYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.
• * 24/7 OB service.
• * Collegial environment with experienced providers and outstanding support staff.
• * Access to advanced technologies and a fully integrated Epic EMR.
• * Strong patient-provider relationships within a community-focused health system.
• * Anticipated schedule: Regular rotations with 2 other Anesthesiologist working 1 out of every 3 weeks.

Qualifications

• * MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• * Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• * Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
