Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Warmly greet and welcome guests. Carry luggage weighing at least 50 pounds to the guests' rooms. Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates. Keep accurate communication flowing freely among all hotel departments and immediate supervisor Practice "aggressive hospitality" and guest satisfaction. Deliver guest packages to desired location at guest's request. Deliver letters, faxes and guest laundry to the guest rooms. Post up at the designated stations anticipating guest interactions and needs. Distribute miniature golf equipment to our guests using proper procedure. Arrange for reasonable accommodations for person(s) with disabilities. GENERAL DUTIES Serve all guests and fellow associates with smiles and warm, courteous demeanor. Maintain positive, enthusiastic environment focusing on our guests. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Perform your job duties according to standard operating procedures. Read, understand, and comply with all policies, procedures and practices as stated in the employee handbook. Utilize protective equipment, when applicable. Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings. Continue to learn and grow in your position. Inform management promptly of any work-related issues with guests or other associates. Know all emergency procedures (fire, severe weather, bomb threats, guest accident/illness, etc.) EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE A minimum of a high school diploma is required. Prior experience in the hospitality/guest services is preferred. Flexible schedule required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language. Fluency in a secondary language is preferred. Associates must be able to communicate articulately and in a professional manner.
