Overview

VTG Defense is offering an exciting opening for a Disclosure and Classification Management Analyst in Bethesda, MD.


What will you do?

Provide consulting services in the support of the Intelligence Community's classification management process, including reviewing intelligence information for possible declassification, disclosure, and/or release. Includes reviewing documents to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part, requests for public disclosure, and explaining those determinations to leaders and the workforce. Coordinates with designated staff to establish local records and information management business processes, helps develop classification policies and procedures, and updates security classification guides.


Do you have what it takes?

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • Requires a BA degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Disclosure and the Classification Management process.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing various written intelligence products to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing records to determine if they can be declassified. Experience in maintaining, updating, and delivering reference tools, trainings, manuals, and user guides to educate the workforce on classification, declassification, and prepublication management issues.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $125,000-$138,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
