Foster Poultry Farms is always looking for talented individuals to join the Foster Poultry Farms Team. Job Functions
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize smocks on the RTE and Raw sides of the facility.
- Clean employee welfare areas, including restrooms, lunchrooms, hallways, windows, mirrors, etc. throughout the shift. This may include wiping, squeegeeing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming or use of other tools to complete the cleaning functions
- Replenish hand sanitizer, hand soap, paper towels, toilet seat covers, and other materials as needed
- Check the work schedule, receive cleaning assignments, obtain supplies required to perform the work, put on all of the required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear, and prepare for operations
- Clean boot room, laundry room, and other areas as needed. This may include using a hose to wash, soap and scrub floors, walls, boots, wipe off shelving used for shoe storage, etc.
- Obtain and apply the appropriate cleaning and sanitizing solution, apply foam to the surfaces, scrub surfaces, and parts
- At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete all required paperwork
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and the safety regulations.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to learn to clean different types of equipment/surfaces.
- Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to understand and follow written SSOP's cleaning procedures.
- Must be able to understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
