Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Perform inspection and repairs on Process analyzers and Sample systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of process analyzers.
  • Capable of reading and understanding P&ID'S, PFD'S, and perform maintenance tasks using instrument loop sheets.
  • Responsible for emergency call-out and rotating weekly on-call duty
  • Always maintain and promote a safe work environment and follow Safe Work Practices established by TPC Group
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation for Preventive Maintenance, Mechanical Integrity tasks, and regulatory required calibrations. Requires strong relationship and frequent communications with the Environmental Team
  • Use of all types of testing equipment
  • Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on Gas Chromatographs (GC)
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of (GC) Siemens Maxum II, Applied Automation (Advanced Opti-Chrom) and Yokogawa GC1000 Mark II analyzers.
  • Responsible for maintaining Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS)Analyzer maintenance, calibration, and repair. Teledyne, ABB, COSA, etc.
  • Calibration, repair, and maintenance of analytical instruments like O2, CO and Moisture analyzers


Required Qualifications



  • Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology/ Analytical Instrumentation Technology AND 2 years' experience OR a minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair of all types of analytical instrumentation equipment
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to consult with 3rd Party Support to resolve analytical equipment concerns, performance, or maintenance issues


Preferred Qualifications



  • Ability to work independently or within a group and collaborate with other departments supporting capital projects.
  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position.
