The Role:

Our Bedford site is seeking an Senior Engineering Supervisor - Echucks Product Line

to lead a high-performing team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized practices across all Echucks processes. The Engineering Supervisor will serve as the lead engineer and technical authority for part of the Echucks product line, while managing a team of engineers. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency, implement advanced process controls, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will act as a model engineer, setting technical standards and coaching the team toward operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as Lead Engineer for the Echucks product line, providing technical expertise and guidance.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and optimize production efficiency and uphold high product standards.

  • Monitor KPIs for the process his/her team owns and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.

  • Coach and mentor team members set priorities, and manage day-to-day activities.

  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance quality and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce process variability using Statistical Process Control (SPC). Identify critical process variables and establish robust monitoring systems.

  • Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.

  • Lead automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Oversee employee development plans and foster a culture of safety, compliance, and innovation.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical growth and leadership.

  • Coach team members on SPC principles, automation technologies, and best practices.

  • Create a structured path for team success through training and performance feedback.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with at least 10+ years of prior experience in a high volume fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred or Master's degrees with 5+ years of experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, at all plant organizational levels.

  • Understanding Organization goal and ability to manage priorities with minimum guidance from management

  • Strong attention to detail, active listening skills, willing to learn, be hands on and work independently in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Lean and Six Sigma Black or Green belt preferred.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Previous experience managing or mentoring co-ops or interns.
