Central Product Manager

This role is responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the Synthetic conveyor belting product lines leveraging the AMMEGA Group brands. Responsible for the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, while driving business growth through strategic partnerships, market analysis and sales initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Synthetic conveyor belts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to define product requirements and oversee the product development process.
  • Plan and coordinate product launches, including go-to-market strategies, sales training, and marketing campaigns.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new customers, new partnerships and new products and services.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities (commercial initiatives & NPD).
  • Pitching sales, products and applications to new customers with appropriate end2end pricing strategies.
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
  • Pro-active Salesforce pipeline management (incl. S&OP demand forecast and win/loss analysis)
  • Provide product and application know-how sharing, consolidating globally and cascading locally.
  • Regularly analyze competitor's actions and status

  • Work together with the regional/local sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals and support contract negotiations.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key customers together with regional/local sales.
  • Collaborating with regional/local sales teams to ensure that commercial initiatives are met

  • Regional and local sales leaders, ISMs, KAM

  • Manufacturing units in the business

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the business, products, the competition in the industry, potential customers and positioning.
  • Degree in marketing, business management / related fields or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to sell ideas, products and services and translate this into value pricing propositions.
  • Strategic and creative mind with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the customer's requirements.
  • Solid IT skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel (average 30%)
