Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a UX & Engagement Analyst (Journeyman) to support user experience optimization for Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) digital platforms under the MODES III contract. This role supports Task 2 Outreach and Engagement services by evaluating user experience, engagement patterns, and behavior flows across MC&FP digital platforms. The UX & Engagement Analyst identifies friction points, usability issues, and engagement barriers to improve task completion, user satisfaction, and overall engagement outcomes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring MC&FP digital platforms are user centered, accessible, and effective. This position is fully remote. Duties & Responsibilities
The UX & Engagement Analyst (Journeyman) will:
Evaluate user experience, engagement patterns, and behavior flows across MC&FP websites and applications.
- Identify usability issues, friction points, and engagement barriers affecting task completion and satisfaction.
- Analyze user journeys, interaction paths, and drop off points.
- Support usability testing activities and analysis of results.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve navigation, content structure, and engagement outcomes.
- Collaborate with digital strategy, content, analytics, and IT teams to inform platform improvements.
- Support development of UX and engagement analysis reports, dashboards, and briefings.
- Track UX and engagement metrics over time to assess improvement effectiveness.
- Ensure findings are clearly documented and aligned with established UX methodologies.
- Support continuous improvement of UX evaluation and engagement analysis approaches.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust from any federal agency. Education (Required) Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Communications, or a related field. Experience (Required)
- Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting UX analysis, user research, or engagement analysis.
- Experience evaluating digital user experiences and behavior flows.
- Experience supporting usability testing and UX optimization initiatives.
- Experience supporting federal or public-sector digital platforms preferred.
Technical Knowledge Required:
- Experience with UX research and analysis methodologies.
- Ability to analyze user behavior and engagement patterns.
- Familiarity with usability testing techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical writing and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with accessibility evaluation and Section 508 considerations.
- Familiarity with digital analytics and visualization tools.
- Experience supporting large scale, user facing digital platforms.
Certifications Required:
Preferred:
- Certifications in UX research, usability, or human centered design
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to translate UX findings into actionable recommendations.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
