Inmate Transport Officer - Day Shift

As an Armed Inmate Transport Officer in Milwaukee, WI, you will Transport Inmates to and from the Milwaukee County Jail, Courthouse, local hospitals, and States Prisons. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate vehicles as part of your responsibilities. You will remain highly visible, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

Prior Law Enforcement or Military or Corrections experience required

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• A college degree is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A corrections officer license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
