Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking for a dedicated Dosimetrist to join the team. This role is full-time day shift Monday through Friday. Sign-on bonus eligible. Verifies all beam modifiers used for patient treatments - which include wedges and tissue compensators. Performs two-dimensional and three-dimensional (standard) computerized external beam planning. Performs secondary manual calculations of treatment monitor unit calculations. Interfaces, without assistance, in all patient treatment parameters and calculations in the record and verify system. Takes ownership for the correct billing entry for all physics planning procedures. Completes patient treatment charts with accurate and correct data for daily radiation treatments. Correctly and clearly communicates (written and orally) with the physician in the creation of the treatment plan. May perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Education - When the "time in the field" criteria is met, the candidate must meet MDCB eligibly requirements for MDCB exam.
