About the Role

We are seeking an Ingredient Prep Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Ingredient Prep Operator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing ingredients according to recipes, monitoring dough temperatures, and ensuring efficient operation of the Rheon Line while maintaining safety and quality standards.


Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 3rd
  • Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  • Weekend Availability: Required


Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $21


Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipe specifications, including feeding starters and other components.
  • Monitor and control dough temperatures during mixing and final stages.
  • Verify dough texture and ensure targeted characteristics are met.
  • Maintain ingredient inventory and ensure proper usage per picklist.
  • Accurately enter data into MOVEX and document mixing data promptly.
  • Ensure weight scales function accurately and refrigerated ingredients are properly stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mixing equipment, coolers, and work areas.
  • Lift and handle 50 lb. flour bags as needed.
  • Adhere to GMPs, food safety, and health and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience as an operator in a production environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes and operate mixing process controls.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and equipment operation.
  • Ability to read scale and temperature readouts and document data accurately.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with operating screens.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.


Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced food production environment.
  • Familiarity with GMPs and food safety practices.
