We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial strategy and execution for our Hydrogen Peroxide & Derivatives business across North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico). This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, managing strategic customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and pricing strategies in alignment with business goals.
- Lead new business development efforts, particularly in emerging markets such as battery recycling.
- Manage key strategic accounts and oversee margin performance across the sales team.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance to ensure product availability and alignment with customer needs.
- Guide and coach account managers; ensure team proficiency in CRM and reporting tools.
- Track NBD progress against yearly targets and manage opportunity reviews with the sales team.
- Represent the business unit in industry focus groups and conferences.
- Define distributor strategies by product, market, and geography.
- Oversee collections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to business unit leadership and sustainability initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to support global customer relationships.
- Provide input for annual budgets and long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in chemical, technical sales, business development, or marketing.
- At least 5 years managing strategic or global customers; minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- BA/BS in Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience across diverse market segments such as pulp and paper, chemical manufacturing, food processing, and water treatment is a plus.
- Proven background in both commodity and specialty chemical markets.
- Experience with direct sales and sales through distribution channels.

Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) Responsibilities
- Supports the site's HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements.
- Actively participates in HES programs led by site management and the organization
- Promotes and encourages the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident, or injury incidents.
