DLZ Corporation is seeking a SeniorAccountant to join our corporate accounting team at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and own components of the monthly close, including journal entries, general ledger review, and reconciliations
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages
• Generate monthly financial reports and assist with analysis for management
• Support internal and external audits and assist with tax preparation activities
• Manage bank activity, reconciliations, fixed assets, and depreciation
• Review expense reports, time sheets, and accounts payable coding for accuracy and compliance
• Assist with financial analysis related to acquisitions and special projects
• Serve as backup for selecting accounting functions and support the accounting team as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4 - 6 years relevant accounting experience
• Experience with audits (financial, overhead rate) and tax compliance (federal, state, and local preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented approach
