Oversees all production at the EnerSys Hays, KS flooded lead battery manufacturing plant, reporting to the Plant Manager. EnerSys Hays produces industrial batteries for reserve power in several industries including communications, utility, information technology and nuclear back up power. Ensures production goals to meet customer demand and corporate profitability. As a project manager, drives innovation and change in plant operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in manufacturing, project management, engineering or an appropriate discipline plus ten years of related experience, five of which include management of multiple departments. Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Professional society affiliation like National Association of Manufactureres (NAM), preferred but not required. Six Sigma, Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing a plus.
