The Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP) Office within theCenter for the Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL)in theSchool of Education and Human Developmentat the University of Virginia seeks an applicant for a full-time, exempt 40-hour/weekVLP Literacy Coachposition to join our team. The position is open to either in-person or remote work but must reside in Northern Virginia, since this position will serve as a support for school divisions in northeast Virginia and will require travel for in-person trainings 2-3 times per week. Additionally travel will be required to provide professional development support as well as for several in-person regional trainings per year. Responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications Education: Master's degree or a demonstrated mastery in their specialty area normally signified by significant equivalent experience. Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience required. Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Salary Range: Full-time position with an anticipated range of $75,000 - $80,000 (40 Hours/Week), commensurate with education and experience, includesUVA benefits. Funding Details: This restricted position is a 12-month appointment, and continuation is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance. Work Arrangement: This position is fully remote and may be performed outside of Charlottesville, VA, in alignment with UVA's remote work guidelines.
