Epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of gynecologic cancers
The St. Laurent Lab at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center in Boston is recruiting multiple Postdoctoral Fellows. Our lab investigates the fundamental mechanisms driving gynecologic cancer development, specifically focusing on the interplay between epigenetic and transcriptional regulatory processes. We provide training in liquid handling robotics and automation, epigenomics, utilizing clinical samples, ex vivo models, murine models, high throughput sequencing technologies and bioinformatic data analysis. This research will provide postdoctoral fellows with a unique skill set at the intersection of cancer biology, chromatin organization, epigenetics, and translational research.
We are seeking translationally-minded scientists eager to conduct research with a direct impact on improving patient outcomes. As part of the Gynecologic Oncology Division at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, and the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, our lab offers a vibrant, multidisciplinary training environment. We prioritize the development of professional skills, foster a strong publication record, and support grant application efforts to empower trainees for independent research careers. We actively collaborate with researchers at Harvard Medical School, MIT, and internationally to broaden research horizons and enhance future career prospects.

  • Strong candidates will have a PhD and/or MD and have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:
    * Epigenomics: chromatin profiling, ATAC seq, scRNA seq
    * Ex vivo models: organoid generation, tissue engineering, microfluidics
    * Microscopy: high-content imaging, high-resolution microscopy techniques, imaging data analysis
Computational biology: bioinformatics, machine learning, data science

  • Immuno-oncology: cell culture models, fluorescence activated cell sorting

If you are excited to join a team of cancer researchers working to tackle audacious projects aimed directly at improving human health, please send us your CV: careers@stlaurentlab.org
