The Role:

The Marketing Supervisor is responsible for implementing and scheduling all marketing events and coordinating the timing and functions with various departments. To perform this job successfully, the Marketing Supervisor must be able to perform the essential functions of the position as outlined below, as well as have the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, and in accordance with all Illinois Gaming regulations.

Responsibilities:



  • Participates in and conducts departmental meetings.
  • Responsible for the supervision of the staff in the following areas of the Marketing Department: advertising, promotions, players club
  • Oversees effective and efficient schedules while meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process and providing recommendations.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with company and departmental standards.
  • Ensures customer services standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Oversee department advertising and promotional efforts, including interactions with advertising agency personnel, creative design, copywriting, production of radio and tv advertisements,
  • Responsible for the oversight of all marketing initiatives including, but not limited to: advertising, promotions, special events, entertainment, direct mail, social media, digital market
  • Assists in the development of operational goals
  • Assists in the monitoring of achievements of performance and profit objectives within the Marketing Department
  • Oversight of creative materials, copywriting, photo and video shoots, website, digital and social marketing, direct mail programs.
  • Oversee direct mail programs.
  • Assist the Player Development and Player's Club teams when necessary.
  • Must be able to work with urgency and meet deadlines. Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training, education, and work experience.
  • Must be friendly and courteous at all times.
  • Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the department leaders.
  • Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
  • Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising or Communications, preferred.
  • 2-3 years previous work experience in marketing, advertising or promotions, required.
  • Previous casino experience, preferred.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
  • Ability to extend hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License

Target Salary Range: $50,000 per year
