Job Description
- Supports program management and operations by assisting the Associate Provost with recruitment and outreach, stakeholder engagement, enrollment management, scheduling and coordination, student support, program evaluation, and reporting and compliance
- Coordinates continuing education offerings, including course implementation, maintenance, daily program logistics, event transactions, data processing, room setup, on-site registration, and production of class materials
- Provides learner and instructor support by assisting adult learners with registration, program information, PDHs, technology troubleshooting, and class communications, and by supporting instructors/faculty in delivering in-person, online, and blended programs
- Manages program planning and improvement, including analyzing project plans and budgets, contributing to long-term strategic planning and resource allocation, and collaborating with CAFE to assess program effectiveness and recommend enhancements
- Serves as a liaison and collaborator with internal and external units-such as registration services, business services, event planning, and IT-to ensure smooth program delivery and operational coordination
- Handles administrative and financial processes, including coordinating support functions for academic programs, initiating purchases in compliance with Missouri S&T policies, and assisting with marketing through social media, website content, and related outreach materials
- Provides general operational support for St. Louis programs and activities as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in program planning or coordination, preferably within continuing education, professional development, or adult learning environments
- Proficiency with common technology tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canvas) and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service
- Experience working with databases, student information systems, or other multi-user management systems
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, make informed decisions, and work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $21.71 - $26.44 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
