Overview
Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for an Executive Director of Pro Bono. This position can be based out of our New York or Silicon Valley offices. Together with Pro Bono Counsel and the Head of International Pro Bono, the Executive Director of Pro Bono is a strategic position responsible for implementing and overseeing Orrick's pro bono strategy, programs, and partnerships. This individual will work closely with Pro Bono Counsel and the Head of International Pro Bono to lead efforts to drive the firm's pro bono initiatives, and ensure they are impactful, aligned with the firm's values, and meaningfully engage attorneys and staff across all offices and practice areas. The Executive Director helps to navigate the conflicts/controversial case process for appropriate cases, including the process of securing necessary approvals. The Executive Director will also work closely with Pro Bono Counsel and the Head of International Pro Bono to implement Pro Bono programming and initiatives across all offices. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree plus a minimum of 10 years of practice experience in legal, education, or professional services management. Who is Orrick? Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $275,000 - $350,000 Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
