Job Title: Note Specialist III Department: Note (HQ Office) We are looking for a Note Specialist III to join our Note team at Open Bank! The Note Specialist III will be responsible for assisting the Note team with payments and system processing, funding, preparing loan documents, and reporting of loans. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operational duties, including assisting with and conducting balancing, callbacks, pulling out system reports and payment billings to be mailed out to customers.
- Payment processing to ensure all payments, billings, and account updates are accurately processed and reconciled.
- Complete online transaction entry, address changes, and broke fee input.
- Perform weekly operations duties, such as Tickler input and Collateral follow up.
- Assist with and conduct demand payoffs, ensuring accurate calculations, collection of required fees, and timely communication with lenders and customers.
- Complete monthly general ledger (GL) certifications, reconciliations, and related reporting.
- Perform other assigned duties including loan documentation review, new loan booking and funding, and processing renewals and extensions in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in note operations, credit administration, lending, or bank operations required.
- Good knowledge of bank documents and bank lending and credit operations.
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
- Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
- Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
