This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Director of Rebuild, CS Quality&Warranty

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. You will oversee Paint / Sealer / Material Handling, Body-in-White and General Industry types of projects within the Modernization service business area.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid in Auburn Hills, MI

This role is contributing to the Robotics Customer Service Division in the United States, and main stakeholders are current Paint and Sealer base install customers.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelors' Degree, preferably in Engineering in Electrical, Automation, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Automation, Robotics, preferably managing complex projects.
  • You are highly adept in leading a diverse group of technical leads, including remote resources.
  • You are innovative around delivering exceptionally executed projects on time and on budget.
  • You are at ease communicating with other cultures.
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work permanently without sponsorship now or in the future
